Silent Snowdon was filmed pre lock down in the UK when exercise and outdoor walks was recommended by the government.
Living nearby I swapped my running trainers for my camera and decided to document the peace and tranquillity of the mountain. I thought this transition and change needed to be documented.
Snowdon will have about 1000 walkers a day, usually more if the weather is good, during filming there were just a handful of people out on England and Wales' highest mountain.
Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd.
I have never seen Snowdon or any popular mountain this quiet in my 30+ years fell and mountain walking, especially with weather this good.
